Alabama State Requirement: The Esthetics program in Alabama adheres to a state requirement of 1000 hours to qualify for the licensing examination. Please note students are required to hold a high school diploma or GED for admission.

Schedules:

​

Full-Time: Our full-time classes run from Monday to Friday, with sessions commencing at 8:30 AM and concluding at 4:00 PM. Students enjoy a 30 minute lunch break. By maintaining perfect attendance, students accrue 7 hours daily and a total of 35 hours per week. With this consistent attendance, students can anticipate program completion in approximately 33 weeks.

*Coming Soon! - Part-Time: For those opting for part-time enrollment, classes convene from Monday to Friday in the evening, beginning at 5:00 PM and finishing at 9:00 PM. Students accumulate 4 hours daily and a total of 12 hours per week with perfect attendance. As such, students can look forward to program completion in roughly 84 weeks.

Flexible Transition: Students enrolled in the night shift program may have the opportunity to transition to day classes when new daytime sessions are scheduled to begin, offering added flexibility to accommodate different learning preferences.

At Guinn Beauty Institute, our Esthetics Kit is designed to empower our students with the essential tools and products they need to excel in the field of esthetics. This carefully curated kit includes a comprehensive selection of high-quality skincare products, professional tools, and equipment that mirror the professional esthetics environment. Our students will have access to name-brand skincare products, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest industry trends and techniques. Additionally, our Esthetics Kit offers hands-on experience and the ability to perfect a wide range of skincare treatments, making it an invaluable resource as students embark on their journey towards becoming skilled and sought-after estheticians. Students will receive one set of olive green scrubs as their school uniform included in their tuition. Additional uniforms may be purchased through GBI. Kits will also include student books.
